It has always been my
ambition to produce a book and workshop manual on Lost Wax Casting
incorporating all the knowledge I have gained in operating
the process for the last 55 years in various parts of the
world. Now that I have sold my last business
and retired, I have the opportunity to get all my experience down on
paper.
|
When I was 12 years old I went to art school and trained for a while in Oil
Painting and Sculpture, I left art School when I was 14
and started work in my Father’s Jewellery Work Shop in “Hatton
Garden”, London, and I have now been designing and producing
jewellery for nearly 60 years. Not only did I help develop,
"Lost Wax Casting"
I also started carving wax and casting
the wax models in Sterling Silver as master patterns for the
production of jewellery.
|
|

|
I am now also very pleased to offer the service of
carving wax models which can be cast into master patterns
for the jewellery and allied trades. If you have any
designs that you wish to have produced as master patterns
for production please feel free to send them and we can
quote a price for either a wax carving or finished sterling
silver model.
|
I have now spent nearly a lifetime Designing and Manufacturing
Jewellery using the Lost Wax
Casting process, also producing Precision Investment Lost Wax
Castings for Industry and
researching
and writing
a book on the "History of Lost Wax Casting",
this wonderful process has
occupied nearly my whole life and in spite of my many highs
and lows during that time, I still feel that I would not have missed
a minute of it.
I have achieved something special in my
life and it brings me great pleasure now when I am able to help
someone with their casting problems and I look forward to hearing
from you.
